I'm always going on about the dedication to paddleball
that some Historic Courts players have- but you know that if
you're one of the "dedicated," when you come out to play and
look the the South western most court, you're gonna probably see just as
dedicated a group of players on that court playing their
sport- Handball!
I've seen those guys out there just like us with brooms and squeegees
drying up the court in order to play a game or two. More, these players
frequently set up one day tournaments amongst themselves,
"shoot-outs," if you will- something us paddleball players
don't do. I'm willin' to say that a few or more of our guys can take and
beat some of the country's best if given the chance!
Many times, these guys are out there by themselves and I'd bet that if
you ask them why, they'll tell you it's because they love their sport. August
20th, I stopped by the Courts to hit a few and had my cam with me- and
took a few pics of the guys competing in a "shoot-out." Below are
